I was an assistant professor at the department of Philosophy at the University of Twente and “Privatdozent” of Philosophy as well as an associated member of the Centre for Advanced Study in Bioethics at the University of Münster (Germany). In November 2020, I have joined the Academy for Responsible Research, Teaching, and Innovation (ARRTI) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

Research

My research interests cover ethics, metaethics, applied ethics, the philosophy of personhood, esp. personal autonomy and related topics, the philosophy of love, political philosophy, and action theory. Currently, I am working on questions of responsibility in the context of technology.
