Robert-Jan Geerts is 3TU.Ethics policy advisor at the University of Twente, and finalizing a PhD project at Wageningen University. The project aims at sketching a philosophy of energy that does justice to its complicated workings in our society. Consequently, Geerts is interested in relations between energy consumption and the good life, among other issues.

Geerts’s research expertise is in Social and Political Philosophy, Ethics, Applied Philosophy. He is a member of 3TU.Ethics’s Energy and Sustainability task force.
