At the Robophilosophy conference 2016 in Aarhus (Denmark) the 4TU.Ethics Robotics Taskforce co-organised a workshop on Responsible Robotics with the Foundation for Responsible Robotics. The two panel-sessions included some of the top-researcher in philosophy of technology, roboethics, robotics, and AI.
To make use of the seldom occasion of having all the top researchers together in one place the 4TU.Ethics and FRR conducted several interviews. Today we present Alan Winfield, who is professor of Robot Ethics at the University of the West of England, Bristol, as well as co-chair of the General Principles committee of the IEEE Global Initiative on the Ethical design of Autonomous Systems.
