Developing socially responsible innovations: The role of values and moral emotions – NWO MVI grant awarded to 3TU.Ethics researchers

Our members Sabine Roeser and Nicole Huijts from Delft University, together with researchers from the University of Groningen (Linda Steg and Goda Perlaviciute), have been awarded a NWO MVI grant. The grant amounts to 375.000 Euro paid by NWO and involves 25% extra contribution by the industry. The title of the research is ‘Developing socially responsible innovations: The role of values and moral emotions’. The research will combine insights from the field of psychology and philosophy and focuses on citizens’ evaluation of risky innovations.
