Students with a bachelor in philosophy who have relevant working experience, or who have followed and passed a substantial amount of courses in science or technology, can start in February to do an 18-month program. For bachelors in philosophy without this technological background a premaster in technology will probably be offered, starting the next academic year. It goes without saying that this change does not have any implications for students with a bachelor in one of the (engineering) sciences: they continue to be welcome as usual.
The two-year Master of Science programme PSTS is a unique international program which aims to understand and evaluate the meaning of science and technology in today’s world. It is hosted by the philosophy department of the University of Twente, one of the three partners in 3TU.Ethics.
